GETTING STARTED
Q: Do I need Canva Pro?
A: No. All our templates work with the free version of Canva. You get full access to editing, fonts, and everything you need to customize. Canva Pro is optional if you want extra features, but it's not necessary.
Q: What file format do I get when I purchase?
A: You get a PDF that contains clickable links to your Canva templates. Open the PDF, click the link, and it takes you directly to the editable template in Canva. Super easy.
Q: How long does it take to customize a template?
A: About 30 minutes from purchase to print-ready. Open Canva, swap colors, add your event details, download, and go. The templates are designed to be fast.
Q: Can I customize the templates beyond what's shown?
A: Absolutely. Canva gives you full editing control. Change fonts, colors, add images, reorganize elements—make it exactly what you need. These are starting points, not final versions.
USING THE TEMPLATES
Q: I'm not tech-savvy. Can I really use these?
A: Yes. Canva is designed to be intuitive. If you can open a PDF and click a link, you can edit these templates. Each purchase comes with a quick-start guide to walk you through it step by step.
Q: Can I use these templates for my event if I'm not the one who purchased them?
A: Yes. Once you purchase, you can share the templates with anyone on your team, PTA, or school. Everyone can edit and use them for your event.
Q: What if I need to print these? Where do I send the files?
A: You can download high-resolution PDFs directly from Canva and send them to any local print shop, or print them at home on your printer. Most templates are designed to look good both ways.
Q: Can I use these templates year after year?
A: Yes. Once you purchase, the templates are yours to use for as many events as you want. Customize for each new event and go.
LICENSING & USAGE
Q: Can I share these templates with other schools or organizations?
A: These templates are for your personal or school use. If you want to share the templates themselves (not the customized versions for your specific event), reach out—we can discuss licensing options.
Q: Can I sell items I create using these templates?
A: If you're printing flyers and selling tickets to your school event, yes. If you're reproducing and selling the templates themselves, no. These are for your event, not for resale.
Q: Can I modify the Heart Drop branding on the templates?
A: Yes. Remove, adjust, or customize the Heart Drop logo on most templates. These are fully editable—make them work for you.
AFTER PURCHASE
Q: How do I access my templates after I purchase?
A: You'll get an email with a link to your PDF. Click it, and you have instant access. The PDF contains links to your Canva templates, which you can open, edit, and download anytime.
Q: What if I lose the PDF?
A: Just email us and we'll resend it. Keep the email in case you need it again.
Q: What's your return policy?
A: Our templates are digital downloads, so purchases are non-refundable. But if something isn't working or you have issues, reach out and we'll troubleshoot or work it out with you.
TECHNICAL ISSUES
Q: The Canva link in my PDF isn't working.
A: Try these steps: refresh your browser, clear your cache, or try a different browser. If it's still not working, email us with your order number and we'll fix it.
Q: I can't find the template I'm looking for in Canva.
A: Make sure you're logged into the email account associated with your Canva profile. Sometimes Canva templates are tied to specific accounts. If you're still stuck, reach out.
Q: The colors look different when I print. What's happening?
A: This is normal—screen colors vs. print colors sometimes vary. Most print shops can adjust if needed. Test-print a page first if you're concerned.
